Default active shooter

All 3 threads about this are now merged into this one..... (Jason)

I just heard over the vhf that there is an active shooter in a stolen fwc boat in Panama city. Anybody know anything about it.

It's my understanding that the FWC officer confronted two suspects about a stolen boat. Shots were fired, officer taken to hospital. How would officer make it to hospital if his boat were taken on the water? Not being smart a$$. Just asking a rhetorical question to help work out the facts.

I hope this isn't a case of someone getting a ticket or boat confiscated over out of season snapper (or other fish). I said two years ago that an officer was going to get shot over this crap.

Here is the story or some of it from Panama City Herald. Doesn't say what the officers condition is though. Prayers for him.

Waiting on more updates but this sucks. Sometimes you just never know. People are crazy. I work with these folks over here so it really hits home.
