Default 4 hour safety course

Does anyone know of anyone offering the 4 hour safety course in our area? What about the 40 hour training?

If your application is accepted by BP or a contractor, they will send you to whatever trainingschool is neededat there expense. Please see this post; https://www.pensacolafishingforum.com/Topic577707.aspx, before shelling out your own funds. Tight lines, Tom

It is my understanding that employees for the clean up will need different levels of training depending on location and there job assignment. I have heard where some will be required to have the basic training where others will be required to have up to the 40 Hazwoper Technical course. Again, this all depends on your assignment........ This probably doesn't help answer your question, but it's the info I have gathered from people actually assigned to different workstations...........

The job i am inquiring about is a deckhand job. The guy I talked to said they have been doing everything from just looking for oil and reporting cooridanates to deploying boom. He said I would need at least minimum the 4 hour training to even be on the boat and would need to get the 40 hour training as well
