Default 2002 or newer Cape Horn 19 in the gulf

Anyone one fish out of a 19 Cape Horn in the gulf? How well does it do on say 2-3 day.

It don't on 2-3's …. better stick to 1 or less

Any 19' boat is gonna suck in true 2-3's.

Thanks. I really want a newer 21 Cape. All the 21’s I have seen are t to much and are really at the point of needing repowering. I saw a clean 19 but just wasn’t sure about the size.

I believe they changed the hull design in 2004 and added more flare, etc.
I may have that date wrong, but either way MAKE SURE you go with the newer hull design, as the older version was very wet.
I’m sure some on PFF can validate the hull redesign date.
Very strong boats, strongest of the strong.
Fishing machines, easy to clean up and go again.

Had a 19. You will not like 2-3. 21 a little better. If you can go 24 or longer you will be very happy.
