What are you paying for your initial 20 hour service on new Suzuki's? I've been quoted around $450 from the purchasing dealership for our DF175.

Processes for the initial - replace both power head and lower unit oils, plug read and do a once over of the engine.

How about annual service of 100hrs? What are you paying and if you got a good deal, tell us where?

Plans are to study the warranty booklet. If I can service it myself and maintain the warranty, then I will.

Location - Gulf Shores/Orange Beach/Hwy 59 to I-10 and Daphne/Fairhope

I'm gonna spend about $80 tomorrow for oil change and new impeller on a Yamaha F115....

Just the impeller? The whole kit is around $50-$60. Filter and oil are more than $20. That's if you use OEM.. and you should as the oil has the FC-W code which is a higher anti corrosion package.

The more I work on Yamaha's......The more I LOVE my Suzuki's..... They don't have all the BS covers that have to be removed like Yamaha's and the filter is a standard size..... I'm talking Big motors like a 250.

Yes I had to get a different oil filter wrench.... The 3 that I've been using for 20+ yrs would not do it.

Yamaha is notorious for changing things so they can sell more parts.

I'm walking out the door for $81. And that's from a dealership. If I shopped around or ordered online, I could be well under that. I sure do like my Yamahas. Just not the 350's.

Yes, just the impeller. The housing is fine, no grooves. Yamalube is about $9 a quart and the OEM oil filter is about 13. I have to buy 4 quarts, but only need a little less than 3.5. Surprisingly, I've done this before.

just did my 200s for 175 bucks oil and filters. took 30 mins for 2 engines. i know our shop over here in biloxi is 169 per.... 450 is obscene

pop the cowlings off and take out the hex bolt on the side, be careful not to lose the rubber washer. drain.

4 bolts to slide off the side panel, change filter.

2 gals in the engine.

done.
