Highly doubt it lost a lot of weight sitting in a cooler.

Thing dwarfs some 80lbers I've seen. Looks much bigger than 101lbs

Now we know what a 100 lb cobia looks like. Can compare that to some of the others that get posted.

I saw one last week that was heading east that looked to be probably close to 100 pounds. It was a monster! I got one shot on it with a jig and it ran from the jig. Just to let some of you know cobia can go east on a full moon and a neap tide they can get turned around all backwards.
