Default 1 1/2" fuel hose, got any extra?

I got sticker shock today when I looked at the price of 1 1/2" marine fuel hose. I need a 5' piece, and will also need around 6' of 5/8" vent hose.

Unless you need it today, you can get it online from various outlets for about 1/3 what they try to charge at west marine. I'm sure you know that by now though.

I went ahead and bit the bullet, ordered on line. Still over $100 of hose. Boat stuff is expensive!

Run PVC with a short piece of the expensive hose at each end. Use all stainless clamps.

Or I could get a couple of pieces of 1 1/2" generic radiator hose and PVC.
