Nearshore gas platforms off of ft morgan

Are these worth the trip over from florida? What kind f fish do they hold? from what i gathered, they are in pretty shallow water...

Save yourself the entire trip to Ft Morgan. Just launch in OB and go South or SouthWest anywhere from 10-50 miles and you will have plenty of pyramids, tanks and wrecks spread a mile apart that will hold everything the nearshore gas platforms will hold as mentioned above. Tight Lines! :thumbup:

thats our "home pass" right there. they get crowded forget it during snapper. they hold cobia/king as mentioned more so king and snapper though. We do well with sheeps too on the rigs in march/april. The pyramids, wrecks, pipe piles etc that are all around are better targets normally. They are smaller than the rigs so less quantities of fish but still plenty to get limits. and they get much deeper. Check out the Super pyramids too they are pretty sizable
