Some people launch at 17th. Others feel gulf breeze is quicker to get to the hump. I've always launched at 17th and have never had problems with my car parked there. I use fresh caught white trout on a grouper rig. 5ought circle on 4ft mono leader to a 3oz carolina rigged egg weight. Lots of people use jerkshads and gulps on jig heads also works. If you wanna take your bass boat out in salt water you can just have to be super thorough in cleaning it. Good luck if u ever go out MSG me ill tag along in the kayak
