Honestly, I don't know what year it is... My dad just gave it to me 3 weeks ago. Like I said, works fine. had solid meat in it when we emptied it before I took it. Right now it's at my brother's house, cause I didn't want it to sit outside. I don't believe he plugged it in. I live in Niceville, if you want to see it, let me know and I'll have him plug it in and freeze something in it just so you know it works. I'll get back to you about year and make.
