I have a 2004 Yamaha 90tlrb with rigging. I bought it last year and the thing rebuilt from top to bottom. New gears in rebuilt lower unit. New carbs, starter, and a ton of other stuff done by Mike at Glf Breeze Marine. I t needs a new cowling. Looks like it was run over by the previous owner. I had a 115 before and want another one. Let me know if ou are interested. Jase
Robert, tried to call Freddy back on home and cell phone but no answer, and your 892-0115 is not in service. I completely forgot the big public hearing is Tuesday on the 331/bridge issue and I have to be there. I'm one of the ring leaders fighting the added sales tax.
It's at 5PM so that will rush us for a trip Tuesday, so I would need to be home by 4 in order to get cleaned up, etc . So guess I will have to back out for Tuesday. I can go Monday or Wednesday.
Hi Robert: You out there kill'n or catrch'n? Have been fishing a lot at the river and catching a lot of trout and good number of red, BUT keepers are few and far between.
How are you coming on your bay boat? It's nice down there and that boat will be a find one for the places and way Freddy and I fish for trout and reds.
QUESTION: What website do you use to look at the offshore weather report/prediction.
I have a friend down here from Kansas that wants to go out on a head boat this Friday. One site I foudn is predicting 3 to 5 seas. I'm not sure I want to fight the waves if that turns out to be correct. Would like to take a good look on Thursday before I commit.
All is well here. Freddy told me you sold the other boat. That's a load off your shoulders I'm sure.
After about 40 years I have started doing a little squirrel hunting at a friends wood lot, 130 acres. Got a few.
Anyway, look forward to hearing from you on the weather site.
Hi Robert, finally got home this afternoonb. Doesn't look like there will be much gulf fishing for a few days. I have some things going on Sept. 9, 13-17, but other than those dates I'm open when the weather gets right.
Made a couple of runs this week to the Chattahoochee River near Abbieville, Al. A lot different than the Choctawhatchee, but enjoyed something new. Found a lot of fish but getting them to bite was a lot different than what I'm used to. Caught a few bream and cats but nothing to brag about.
I think you may have opened up my old salt water genes. Man are they rusty, but Went out yesterday on the Swoop and have another trip scheduled next Wednesday.
Took friend Joe Oliver with me. He and I fish the river as often as we can.
The boat was full and we enjoyed the 5 hour trip. Seas were really great, running 1 to 2 ft. Mate told me it was even smoother on Wednesday.
We got our snapper limit but the quality was on the short side. You know the head boat routine. However, some others on the boat did pretty good on size.
I will eat my first Trigger Fish tomorrow.
Hope you are well and fishing.
Incidentally I took the concealed weapons course at the Sheriffs Office today. The instructrors were outstanding. Not exactly sure why I took the course, but guess it was just something to do that I might enjoy.
