Jamie, my e-mail is rstefancik@bellsouth.net. Thats great that they opened up more water, its definitely tuna season. Also I looked at the Florida fishing regs, and they indicate that "golden tilefish" are included in the 4 per person grouper agregate count.
However, the Alabama regs seem to indicate that tilefish are included in the 20 reef fish agregate instead of the grouper agregate. The Alabama regs use the term "goldface tilefish". But in both cases essentially the same federal waters are being fished. What is your understanding, is there really that big of a difference between fishing out of Pensacola versus Orange Beach with respect to federal water fish? Doesn't make sense to me.
