Ocean Master, Thanks for the offer on the pier. I'm coming to town with my 6yr old this weekend and was trying to get him into a fish, and my brother lives around the corner from you, but not on the water. How do you recommend getting to your doc? Walk from shoreline, by boat, car, etc... He has a Kayak if by water is needed.
Very considerate! Def good to know a few people don't mind you fishing around their pier, I would love to try for some black snapper I'll have to look for you next time I'm out on the water May God Bless You!!! For your generosity!!!
Sir, i appreciate the offer to borrow one of you reels but i wouldnt want to do something to mess it up. But if there is anyway i could just look at one and kind of check it out, i'd def love to do that.
I gathered from a few of your posts that you are a paraplegic fisherman with a custom setup on your boat. My father is a paraplegic as well and enjoys fishing. We are originally from Opelika, Alabama but have a house down in Orange beach so we are interested in the possibility of finding an accessible fishing boat. I was wondering if you could email him and possibly tell him how you operate the boat and how it is set up. As well as with maybe some pictures. His name is Eddie Smith and his email is esmith@auburnbank.com My email is eas0017@auburn.edu
if you would like to contact me as well.
Thank you for replying to my thread and helping out. I have read many many threads on this site and see you helping many people, I believe you said you have a lit dock you welcome people to cast towards? maybe. Any other pointers will be great, We are taking a 15ft aluminum boat, and I will go anywhere in the bay we feel safe going, I am not too sure about the pass, and def not hitting the gulf. We have set-ups that range from medium light for spanish mackeral, to rod/reels that should handle anything 75lbs or so, I have looked into locating wrecks and structure in the bay to fish, and I know a little about the flats, I have tried to read up on trolling in the bay but have zero knowledge of trolling. Anyways wejust want to catch some fish and have a fun time. I actually hope to call Pensacola home someday in the not tooooo distant future (3-5 years potentailly) and hope to befriend many anglers such as yourself.
