Saw your post about looking for a fishing partner. I assume you are in Pensacola. If you were closer to DeFuniak Springs I would love to show you the Choctawhatchee River that I fish. However, for some months now the "catching" part of fishing has been rather poor. So poor for me that I switched to speckled trout and red fish. Recently took up mullet fishing and even that takes a few trips to get the knack of knowing when to pull. The old timers will tell you pull just before they bite. These things pull like a horse so a lot of fun to catch. Actually, you snag the fish with a treble hook so no telling where you will hook him.
Anyway, welcome to the Florida Panhandle. I hope your time here will be enjoyable. There are a lot of fishing places near Pensacola and I'm sure some of they guys over there will be in touch with you.
