Sorry About not Chatting with you out there. We don't fish much with-in 30 miles for a reason. Just a hour before you came out with your wife we had a boat park very close to us and even drifed across our anchor line pulling us off the spot we were on. and then that large charter boat pulled with-in 50 feet of us. We are normally very friedly and go out of our way to help someone catch fish if we can. But you just caught us on a off day. Again sorry for us not wanting to talk. Gene
Saw your X-Mas Eve skunked post. My buddy and I fished Blackwater that day and had a tough go of it, although we saw tons of fish. Went over and looked around in Escambia Bay. Caught bulls all day under pelicans. The fish weren't on top though. Makes me think the lack of rain and clear water in Escambia pushed the bulls up there. I'd heard there weren't many along the beaches lately, this may be why.
