Pompano are going to die tomorrow

I'm probably gonna fish Blackwater or Simpson river on Monday if the weather holds up. Unfortunately, the river systems over here in South bama don't have much of a population of pickerel.

Thanks Matt. I caught that one July 2010. It was just a hair over 32 inches but only weighed 9 1/4lbs. She had thick shoulders but a staright belly, must've just spawned days prior. My heaviest is 9lbs 14oz. Still looking for my true 10lb, gulf coast speck.
