Terry, I'm not going this weekend. It's Dollys birthday so I'm staying home. I don't know about Marc. The only place to go would be the gulf and that's if the wind doesn't have to much east to it. The fish should push with this front . Just hope the forecast gets better for next weekend but I dought it. That last trip could've been my last for this year if the wind won't get better.
Hey, it's Mike again in Pace Fl. Can you tell me what/where to purchase some good lights. I may have to buy enough to go fishing with and then beef the whole rig up later. I don't like running a Generator, so some good LED'S that I can mount on top. I've done the ones from Chad [customfitz] the last couple of years and they keep blowing. Right now I just need some thing that's inexpensive. I just bought another boat and my fishing money is running pretty low. I've got about a 4" gunnel to use for the mount. Thanks, Mike
I am one of the assistant principals here at Foley high. I flounder but am struggling with my set up. Is there anyway I may be able to call you to discuss your rig. My cell is 251-979-5437. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org Thanks a ton. Zack
Just wanted to let you know that I have developed a good measure of respect for through your post. You seem to have had a great year gigging. I hope to start next spring and have just a quarter of your success. Is there any way I may talk you into checking out my setup that I posted today on the gigging page and give me your opinion? I want to be ready for when the girls make their return this coming spring! Thanks, Mike
Hey bamafan611. I just want you to know that you are a fine example of the type of fisherman and conservationist that I always strive to be. I always enjoy your posts on the forum and highly admire the similar respect you have for natures bounty. I am 27 years old, and I do not know it all by any means, but I certainly know how to distinguish a true outdoorsman from some of the idiots that belong to this forum. We are hitting the water tonight around 10, so hopefully I will have some good pics tomorrow. Take care.
Oh and the cold doesn't bother me. I wear a set of neoprene waders that I have for duck hunting. Actually I never knew when I bought all of my duck gear I was gonna repurpose it for gigging. Works well. It was 45 the other night and I was just as warm and toasty as could be.
