congrats on the 10 pounders. I came across that post when I was looking for you on here to ask you a question. I was wondering if you know of a launch off 90 for perdido river? I am a non boater in a club I recently joined and the next tournament is there. someone just mentioned a ramp off 90 so I am curious where it is and you are probably more familiar with this river than I am but is this in Alabama? any info would help I was just gonna try and look it up and take a look at the river.

Nice catch there, enjoy your posts. Just has a question as to how to get to Lake Cassidy. I went up there one day and could not find a road to the ramp. All the roads had gates on them. Wondering if you could put me in the right direction. Thanks

I'm fishing a tourney on blackwater next sat and planning on going to yellow where would you think I could find some fish I was thinking about staying down in the grass close to the Bay Area what do you think and any particular baits you'd have tied on just tryin to put something together over there with all that's been going on here lately with the weather and all. Any info will help thank man

I was on the river today fishing mullet. After I finished that I decided to take a ride. The boat traffic was not as heavy as I expected for a holiday. I left the mouth of the Choctaw and went all the way up to Smokehouse, then back down the river and cut over to Mitchell River, then Rushing Cutoff to Black Creek and the landing. I saw two boats fishing bream and one fishing bass in all that distance. I did see 5 or 6 down at the mouth/delta area fishing specks and reds. Ran into owner of the landing and he said it has been really tough for bass and bream for many weeks. I don't know what's going on but this is the second year in a row fishing has been way off during the summer.

Just curious, how did the tournement go at Cowford a couple of weeks ago?

I was down at the river mouth yesterday fising for red and specks. After a couple of hours and only one short red we went to a mullet hole for some meat. Got 14 which was plenty for our needs.
