No Live shrimp at the local bait shops this morning so broke out the aftificials.  Launched on south side of 3 Mile this morning, didn't feel like getting pounded on the run across the bay.  Arrived at fishing hole around 8:30, tied on a DOA shrimp popping cork for Tammy and underwater Catch 2000 clear with (silver) panels for me.  The first hook up was on the underwater mirrorlure, 16" speck.  So I decided to switch Tammy to the Catch 2000 (Black), her next cast produced this stud 20" Trout her biggest on artificial.

We caught three more undersize trout and decided to call it a day.  This was supposed to be a sheephead day at 3 Mile but with crappy weather,no shrimp, and 4' chop I guess it turned out ok!!!!!!!

SEE YA AT THE FISHING HOLE!!!!!!!!!!

yeah, yeah tom, unlike popular opinion, we do work hard for the public...i know you were kidding...

dale is another one you might want to take fishing...seems like the women are the ticket...she usually catches the biggest or most fish but, all we husbands do is keep them leadered up and over fish...

sorry to derail kenny...thanks for the good report...way to go tammy...good luck tomorrow guys...

Your right Mike. Ken deserves the time off, no doubt. I'm just envious that I have dug myself into a situation were I can't take any time off lately....

Great fishing reports

Good job folks, been hearing some good reports that the trout are hitin the flats around the corner at town and deer point.

I keep wanting to try the catch 2000's but it's hard to stray away fm:the trusty 54m's. I'm convinced now.
