Just curious what thickness suit I would get the most use out of around Pensacola. I have a 7mm already that I use up here. You think I would be better on getting a 3mm two piece that I could split up when I get hot or would a 1.5 be used more often? Just curious.

Big thanks to all that have taken the time to share information or invite me out.

| If you've already got a 7mm, just get a 3mm full suit and you'll be set.

Evensplit (1/27/2010) If you've already got a 7mm, just get a 3mm full suit and you'll be set. Good suggestion. Remember you will be just as hot or cold in whatever thickness suit you get. The difference in thickness just means that you can stay longer in the water with a thicker suit.

I agree, A 3mm suit should be just fine for most conditions. They can be a little warm in the summer at times, but you'll definitely get more use out of a 3mm rather than a 1.5
