Remember to Ethanol treatment to your gas cans if you are going to store any for the season. Hate to see your generator crap out when you need it because of bad gas.

So I guess regular Stabil does nothing to help the ethenol problem right. All my gas that is stored is mostly ethenol free. But I just filled up two 6 gallon cans this morning that contains ethenol. I added regular stabil to it.

Telum Piscis (8/16/2009) So I guess regular Stabil does nothing to help the ethenol problem right. All my gas that is stored is mostly ethenol free. But I just filled up two 6 gallon cans this morning that contains ethenol. I added regular stabil to it.That's right. The pink Sta Bil does nothing for the effects of ethanol. I would recommend using the gas you bought today asap. I filled 4 5gal cans today and added 1 oz of Marine Sta Bil to each can before filling. Sta Bil recommends 1 oz per 10 gal for regular protection and 1 oz per 5 gal for storage protection.
