Was thinking of hitting up maybe Weeks Bay, Wolf Bay & the Intercostal waterway (any other suggestions would be great). As I'm not to familiar with that area we are looking to get some info on Boat Ramps close to Foley & bait shops also close to either Foley or the Ramp. Any info is Gratefully apperciated

i'd probably fish down around the perdido pass, also theres a launch at cotton bayou and one at boggy point, top gun bait and tackle in orange beach is top notch, they can give you better directions to the boat launches, you can also try fishing at fort morgan

The Josephine ramp will be closest to were you are staying. If you find Pirates Cove, ask them what's biting where.

JoeZ (7/9/2009) The Josephine ramp will be closest to were you are staying. If you find Pirates Cove, ask them what's biting where.Thats a long way from wheres he's at dude....You trying to confuse folks or what....Go to Cotton Bayou....Boggy Point....or the spot just across the canal bridge and then under the bridge.

Hey thanks for the ramp info up top, as I never really knew about all those & that's the area we are trying to get into. I just wanta toss these thoughts by ya'll and see what ya'll think. Prolly Saturday morning hit the ramp at ICW & 59 bridge & head west towards Oyster Bay and fish all that area till close to noon. Then take a break till a little later in the day & go to either Cotton Bayou or Boggy Point and hit the pass & Ono Island area up for some late late afternoon & night fishing around the pass. Those two plans worth it or should I think about maybe concentrate one of those times getting out into Wolf bay. Not looking for spots just areas that have been produceing fish. Again thanks & info is much apperciated

There is.. I googled Cotton Bayou (only cotton Bayou I knew in the area) as I thought it was behind the resturant and then came up with this http://www.orangebeach.ws/boatlaunches.html Great direction of how to get there.

is there a bait shop around the 59 bridge & ICW. If my memory serves me right I thought there was one down in that shopping center with the grocery store right when you come into GS

| Good luck trying to get in Cotton Bayou or Boggy Point later up in the day. they get crowded pretty early. i prefer boggy point but i also try to get there early. if not, its tough finding a place to park.....then again my truck is a dually and my trailer is long so that makes it worse but both will be packed i can assure you. try to get there as early as possible

| Hey guys I really appreciate all the info. We did end up using both the ICW & 59 bridge ramp & Boggy point ramp. We had a great day on the water, prolly spent some 12 hours Saturday fishing. The morning was a little slow but we seemed to find the fish that afternoon on popping corks & live shrimp around docks in the Ono island area. I will go ahead and say if any of yall are thinking of using the ICW & 59 Bridge ramp, it can be a little tricky as it doesn't give you much room to work between the ramp, bridge pilings & current flowing through. Last question, is it odd to catch a cuda in the pass. I think I caught a little one Saturday night under there.
