| took my brother out in the bay the other day and had a blast. caught king and spanish and kept a few for the grill. the fish were everywhere. hope you enjoy.

Thanks for the report. I hear so many mixed opinions on the the taste of fish...no mackeral, yes mackeral, sail cats are good, no they are bad, ok to eat fish with worms, don't eat fish with worms. I'm going to just have to go for it... I'm assuming you and the family likes the taste of grilled (or smoked) mackeral and it sounds good to me (I need to keep a few and try it)

GREAT Catch! I know what schools of spanish look like(with birds, etc), but I never seem to see any on my way from Shoreline to the Pass. Since the schools move all over, can you share about where you found the school? Or someone else who is catching Spaniards in the Bay?

| Nice catch. I found that if you filet the kings and cut out the blood line instead of steaking them they come out alot better. Also try making a smoked king dip for crackers. Same as you would with tuna it is delicious. Rick
