Do you mind my asking what type of battery you had in it when it caught fire?

It's set up with a 12volt battery...
This livewell will hold a ton of bait and keep it alive no problem.

Sgt SeaSick (7/5/2009)
Do you mind my asking what type of battery you had in it when it caught fire?

He had an old 12v lamp battery in it when it caught fire (he didn't have a fuse wired in). It wasn't really a fire..just smoked the wires. It now has a 12v rechargeable battery in there now, plus a fuse to prevent it from happening again.
