| Reposting this question in here: What areas in NW Fl and Coastal Al are they legal?...I use to have one back in the 80's...it was a blast to catch shrimp and bait with it...I was thinking about getting another one soon....Anyone familiar with the laws?

im not sure if there legal anymore. i used them before in the past and they work great. go to FWC website. im fairly certain you could get the answer there. let me know what you find. Capt. Ollie

| I sent the FWC athe question..No reply yet...I need to kow the laws in Alabama too with seine nets so I guess I have to send Marine Resouces a question there too.

| A buddy of mine was asking me about shrimping regs and I read on the FWC site that you could use one but it had to be less than 500 sq ft. When you go to the FWC site, do a shrimping search and click on the following.
