exactly!... try not to use cutbait.... EVER, especially if you can catch some live bait...

if i had to go with cut bait, i'd go with a croaker.... but then again, when you catch a croaker, he would be live, right???.... no sense in killing a bait to cut up when it's even better live!

i agree with you on using live shrimp for bait however i do like using cut croaker strips for backwater redfish. i have always caught reds on it!

i agree with you on using live shrimp for bait however i do like using cut croaker strips for backwater redfish. i have always caught reds on it!
i too use cut croaker strips on jigs; for flounder though.... it works extremely well.
