"Hooked Up" is having our grand re-launch! Our website is back up and running and the publication is back and will be better than ever. I wanted to start off with "Hooked Up" sponsoring something fun for the fishing community, and I know there are some creative folks here...... if I can get a couple of folks to sponsor more prizes I will add that in as well. If you'd like to enter, email me your photos with the information listed below to my email through "Hooked Up" - askfishnerd@yahoo.com. You can also post your photos here (would be fun for all of us to see them!), but I have to have them in my email with the complete information needed in order for them to be considered. Have fun and hope to see a lot of participation!! Chris, can we possibly pin this one? Happy Halloween! Put your carving skills in full swing and create the best NAUTICAL THEMED jack o’lantern that you can! Ghoulish groupers, prankster pirates, and tricky trout….. put them on a pumpkin and send us your photos! RULES: - Your jack o’lantern must have a nautical/aquatic/fishing theme.
- You may use some external props, but the pumpkin must be carved.
- Take a CLEAR digital photo of the finished product with a piece of paper with your name legibly written and placed next to the pumpkin.
- There will be prizes awarded for participants 12 and over, and for children under 12.
- Photos submitted for the children’s contest must include the child holding or seated next to the pumpkin and a legible piece of paper including child’s name and age.
- Photos must be submitted by 5:00 pm CST, Sunday NOVEMBER 2.
Winners will be notified by Friday, November 7, and will receive gift certificates to Outback Steakhouse! Winning photos will also be printed in “Hooked Up”. Send photos to: askfishnerd@yahoo.com and include your name, child’s name and age (if applicable), mailing address, and telephone number. Photos submitted with incomplete information will not be considered.
