I would like to find a mechanic to replace my starter on my 2002 200 hp Yahama two stroke. Does anyone have any suggestions? I would pay $50 extra to have it done at my home in Gulf Shores where I keep it. I don't care to wait two weeks to have it replaced. I would imagine it is a job which wouldn't take long.

Thanks.

Happy trails

Do you already have your starter?  What do you consider "take long".

A few days after the starter gets in. I don't know if they are in stock here or how long it takes to get one. I am assuming it is the starter, after going through the tests in the owner's manual.

I can look at it. I work the Orange beach area. I woudn't order a start until you have it looked at. A starter could be ordered and have it recieved in a day or two. By the way screw Don call Matt. 1-850-418-2872
