Headed to the flats after work to squeeze and hour or two of fishing after work using frozen shrimp under a popping cork. There were schools of Reds and baitfish breaking the water all around me as I fished. Caught 6 under slot reds all between 14" to 16" and one huge 29" extremely mad catfish. Popping cork went under and at first by the fight thought I had another under slot Red but once I got it in was pleasantly surprised to see it was a 19" specle trout. The trout have been few and far between there lately but this was a nice way to break them back in. Kept the trout being it is my first keeper caught and was feeling the need for some fish. All other were released.

A picture of last weekend at Destin Bridge caught 11 Red fish in about an hour and a half. Kept a 27" for the fryer.

It was not a sailcat. It was the normal bait stealing, pain in the butt when you catch them wading catfish

29" has got to be a world record hard head.
