Please see comments at the end.  Anyone who wants out of their deal should just post here that their lot is back up for grabs.  If you intend to buy your lot, please pm me with a good when/where we can make the exchange.

In the interest of keeping things fair and showing no favoritism, I’m publishing the pictures of all available lots early.  There are 22 very similar lots total.  My son got greedy with the other 2.  Anyway, whatever lots do not sell in the next day or so will be available to be rummaged through for $3.50 per lure. (Gotta get em before I list em on ebay - I have one lot on ebay now for a buy it now of $100 plus $15 shipping.  Starting bid is $49.99, no reserve as a test.  8 watchers already and I listed this am.)

Here are the rules of engagement:

Lot sell ends when they’re all spoken for or midnight (CST) Saturday, whichever comes first

Price is a flat $85 per lot.

   - $10 discount per lot given on purchases of 2 or more lots (see important note below) or more no longer applicable

I will be in Pensacola Tuesday, or send them via my son to the Gulf Breeze Hospital where they can be picked up for Pensacola Folks.  For Folks in FWB, I will be there some time this weekend you can bet.  For folks close to Eglin, I will be over that way some time after the 13th as I will be taking a class over there next semester.  And of course, you can pick them up from my home in Navarre pretty much anytime as I’m here 90% of the time.  For folks that live out of the area, if we can’t find someone coming your way, I’ll ship them to you for the actual cost of shipping.  Note: the lures are pretty heavy, but not over 10 lbs.

$20 down by 1200 Saturday will hold your lures for 30 days from the end of sale on Saturday for those that don’t have $85 to spare right now.

No checks please.  I do have a pay pal account if you would like to charge it.  If so, please add $5 to each lot you buy to cover pay pal fees as I’m not sure how much they are, but I’m sure $5 per lot should cover it.  If this is how you would like to pay, pm me and I’ll give you the info you need.

The dollar is not included...

This is important:

All lots will be sold first come, first served.

Once you have picked out which lot you want, post to this thread with the lot number and the site will time stamp your offer.  If two offers come in on the same lot, the winner will be whoever’s post appears first.  This also applies to multiple lots as well.  If one of the lots in your multiple is already spoken for, please choose another lot to complete your multiple.  If you don't want your multiple because you can't get the 2 or more that you wanted, just post that they're all up for grabs again.  I'm not holding anyones feet to the fire.

I think I’ve made this as fair as possible and hopefully it will allow everyone a shot at a great deal.  I look forward to meeting a bunch of you as a result of this…

Scroll down for pictures under Tuna Man's post.  I removed them from here because they were screwing up the display.  Thanks

Man, I'm glad the computer didn't crash!

May the holes in your net be no larger than the fish in it.

I guess you can't edit your first post anymore...  Oh well.

WRT multiple lots... you can buy multiple lots before 6 pm tonight, you just won't get the discount.  I just wanted to make sure there is no misunderstanding.

OK ladies and germs, I'm going out for a hair cut and little bit of lunch.  I'll keep a check here and see how things progress later...

Select the "Document" tab as shown below and choose the lot number you would like to see up close.  Piece of cake.

Catchin Hell (9/24/2008)

In the interest of keeping things fair and showing no favoritism, I’m publishing the pictures of all available lots early.  There are 22 very similar lots total.  My son got greedy with the other 2.  Anyway, whatever lots do not sell in the next day or so will be available to be rummaged through for $3.50 per lure.

Lot sell ends when they’re all spoken for or midnight (CST) Saturday, whichever comes first

Price is a flat $85 per lot.

   - $10 discount per lot given on purchases of 2 or more lots (see important note below)

If seven lots or more are sold today to folks willing to show up at the usual get together tonight in Pensacola or wherever, I will come and bring the lures with me.  I think this is a good idea as you may be able to swap lures.  If not, I will be in Pensacola next Tuesday, or send them via my son to the Gulf Breeze Hospital where they can be picked up for Pensacola Folks.

The dollar is not included...

This is important:

Multiple orders will not be accepted until 1800 (6pm) tonight to give everyone a chance to get in here.  I wish I could prolong it more, but six hours will suffice.

Offers with a time stamp before 1200 today will be rejected and need to be resubmitted after 1200 to stand.

I think I’ve made this as fair as possible and hopefully it will allow everyone a shot at a great deal.  I look forward to meeting a bunch of you as a result of this…

Oh yeah, I think I would be remise if I did not allow Chris (Couture) to bid early if he wants one.  So I ask that we all step aside and let him take his pick before 1200 if he would like to.  Someone please let him know this offer is out there.

They're high speed holographic tuna trolling jigs.  Similar to a cedar plug, but with lots of splash and flash.  I'm pretty sure they're around $14 each, but I can't find them in the BPS catalog and "Offshore Angler" is BPS namebrand, so no one else carries them.  If anyone can find prices for any of the items I have listed and wants to post them, please do.  I came up with nada, so they may all be discontinued...  The Saltivas all have labels on them showing they retail for $19.95 each.  With that said, most of the packages have $200 worth of Saltivas at retail before anything else is considered.  If someone has an old Offshore Angler catalog, they should be in there.  Thanks for asking.

Darn,

I'm getting my feelings hurt here, not to mention my pocketbook.  I really appreciate the folks who've stepped up and spoken for a lot.  Since no one seems to want them, if anyone wants out of their deal, let me know and I'll sell them elsewhere.  Like I said, to sell these, I'm sure I don't have to hold anyones feet to the fire.  I just have to find the right audience.  Retail on each lot is over $400 before taxes... Go figure!  Let's get some action going here.

May the holes in your net be no larger than the fish in it.

Guys...If a lot is too much at one wack...get a bud and split between the two or three of you. Sam and I are splitting up a lot. Just a thought.

TM... I found a definite market for them on E-bay.  Just waiting for the sale to end as I'm keeping my word as I said I would.  If you guys don't believe me, each package generally contains 10 Saltiga lures.  Take a look at E-bay.  I'll make money on just selling the Saltiga lures at auction.  It'll just be a pain.  I'm not trying to get rich, I'm obviously bending over backwards to provide a good deal, but Moma is off my back now that she sees they do sell and for a lot more than the pidley $3.50 each I'm asking; hence, the reason I haven't been bumping this like crazy.  If you're sitting on the fence on this one, you will not get a second chance...  If folks want to split, that's ok by me... Here's the link to ebay's Saltiga lures.

http://shop.ebay.com/items/_W0QQ_fromZR46?_nkw=saltiga+lure&_sacat=0&_fromfsb=&_trksid=m270.l1313&_odkw=saltiga+lure&_osacat=0

Worse case for me is I sell all lots here at the $75 discounted price: 22 x 75 = $1650.  If I go to ebay with 200 Saltiga pieces at $10 plus $2 shipping which is the current going price (yes, I made sure they all had bids), I come out better than that.  I'd a lot rather pass these on here to people I feel like I know, but I can lead a horse to water...

Since the cat is out of the bag, I am going to limit quantity to 2 lots so no one buys them and lists them on ebay.  I will also say your PFF account needs to be active before I started the sale to keep someone from trying to scam the system here.  5 1/2 hours and ticking...

May the holes in your net be no larger than the fish in it.
