Fished with Todd and his buddy from Mobile this morning in Santa Rosa Sound. Todd wanted to learn more about the Hewes Redfisher 21 and I figured what a better way to accomplish this than by taking him out for some redfish action and showing him how many fish it catches. Got on some very nice fish(6-7#) immediately and then fished singles and doubles the rest of the morning with some trout mixed in. They weren't too cooperative but cooperative enough. All fish caught on Gulp and one on spinnerbait. All fish released.

Looks good, I thought about going to the sound this evening but looks like it will be low tide, tired of hitting bottom in the pitch black, might do the bay launching at east river on 87.

Nice pics Eric, looks like it was an early start, and the fish were way off the shoreline, what kind of depth?

Hey BP,

The fish were oddly way off the bank this morning in about 3-4' of water. Odd because the water was up and in my experience, I have greater success in shallow. About 30 feet inside the large schools of mullet. I saw one of the biggest schools of quality fish I've seen in this area in a long, long time.

CCC- I love your funny screen name. If I can be of any assistance in making your experience more pleasurable on the water, please PM me and I will help you in any way I can.

Thanks again.
