17 year old unmarried daughter is pregnant. She plans on marrying the guy.
Good or Bad for GOP?
Personally, it doesn't really bother me. You aren't going to find a family in the United States that doesn't have some kind of issue going on in their life at sometime or another.

| depends on how the Dems and the Dem bloggers go after it, if they keep hitting her the way they are now, like the Daily Kos has been it will backfire on them.... women are protective of their species as a rule...even women who disagree with her stances on abortion etc... will feel defensive of her if they try to destroy her over her family..

| Well, since some left-wing-nut bloggers (dailykos especially) have been trying to spread the rumor that Palin's 4 month old baby was actually her daughter's baby, they may need to tread lightly, because the truth just blew a hole in their little smear campaign with that pathetic rumor. Another reason to tread lightly is the fact that the New Messiah is supposed to be the hope for black America's chance to gain... whatever the hell they are looking to gain. How do the dumbocrat operatives go after Palin and her daughter when their strongest base of support actually has an out-of-wedlock pregnancy rate pushing 75%? They might want to keep their noses out of the "politics-of-personal-destruction" on this one. Just because Palin's daughter has been knockin' the boots with her boyfriend, does not give them the right to attack Palin or her family. The Clintons used to go apeshit if anyone in the media even thought of publishing a photo of Chelsea's ugly mug without their permission. It sucks that the media can't focus on the issues...

| I'm sure the dems will try to make it into a bad thing, but the last few days they have been saying that her youngest child was actually her grandchild....I guess that backfired in their face. I don't see it hurting the republicans much, if any at all.
