on saturday i had a trout fishing trip planned and the weather went sour around noon thinking it was gonna stay bad i canceled (dumb me) well the weather cleared up and i didn't have my boat rdy to head out so i missed out on that.

on sunday a friend from outta town wanted to go fishing well this time i had my boat rdy and waiting weather did the same bad then better thing so we decided to try to shark fish near the brooks bridge near the channel. we had lotta bait come up to the crappie light i brought but nothing hit in 5hrs of sitting so i decided to look for some dock light to my dismay no lights were on so that ruined the whole trout under the lights idea trying to make up for it we decided to run to destin pass, bad idea there a big thunder head was surrounding us s, but luckly we got back before rain hit but was lotta lightning in the storm

trying to make up for the bad night before, i agreed to meet my friend out at bob sykes bridge (yes i dont know how to spell it). well we sat there for about 4hrs and all we had to show for it was a 11" seatrout that i thought about using for bait, i just threw it back.

on both shark nights we tried chumming, different baits, and every thing i could think of i was just wounding if there may be like a red tide or bad fishing mojo this weekend
