Thats a nice fishy. I know the one we brought in at Ft. Morgan marina caused a scene a couple months ago. It is a long run to the sword grounds from down there.

We brought our last one back in the cover of darkness but the dock hands working at Sportsman got to see the fish a few days later after the carcass floated back up haha oops

They are definitely the strangest fighting big game fish I've come across. Some come right in and others want to fight to the death. We hooked one a couple months ago at the steps that took it fairly easy and casually swam around pulling line off the 50 as if it wasn't there. About 30-45 minutes into the fight it came near the surface so I started easing towards it to gain line instructing the angler to maintain good pressure on the fish while he retrieved. When we were about 75 feet from it I guess it realized something was wrong and dove and continued to dive for about 10 solid minutes never slowing down until the hook pulled.
