fished with bill...marty...and ben on august 14th and 15th. we connected on two inshore slams on the 15th. Bill and myself scored!

bill and marty looking for schools of mullet

as we found the schools of mullet we worked all around them...the redfish would trail and sometimes be right in the middle of the mullet

bill has a big explosion from a nice redfish at the boat

hold him bill...is he spooling you? your drag is screaming

ok...ready for the net?

a nice 6.5 lb red!

capt wes spots and hooks this stud right in the middle of about 200lbs of mullet

19lbs! ok show off back in the water...you can't take capt wes anywhere

bill with a nice speck close to the boat launch

well we had a total of 16 flounder...30+ specks...and 2 redfish over two days of fishing...anglers kept a few for dinner and let the rest back to fight another day!

well the day did not start right...boat signaled no oil...after a few calls and i felt ok to proceed...a nice overcast day with light winds and the bay was glass!

justin started the day right with a nice fish chasing the BUG

the BAM and the drag is screaming...this was all day non stop!

nice 6 lb spanish

both mike and zack getting explosions as capt bob watches on

now those are a couple of studs!

WOW...Wham Bam thank you mam!

oh...just 3 lbs!

Zack with a juvenile african pompano

ok alittle fish fry in the works!

ended the day with 25 spanish and 10+ bluefish and 1 african pompano.

i hope you enjoyed!

tight lines!

Those are some fat spanish! I don't think you can get a better fish on a topwater. Just an outstanding report with some great pics.
