| (/quote) Absolutely!!!!! Now notice that NONE of that says...Christ....If they were all Christians they would have invoked his name. They did not, indicating that one, some or many were not Christian at all or allowing for those that are non-Christian, but still believing in a higher power as defined by their religion.[/quote] Nobody said they want it to say "In Christ We trust" Every religion has a God. I don't recall our currency specifying a particular one. This country was founded on freedom of religion. As far as the money belonging to atheist as well, and maybe they don't want it on their money. Are they the majority in this country now? Or are we once again catering to the minority because it hurt's their feeling's. That is what is bringing this country down. The fact that we bend to every group no matter how small they are just to keep from offending them.

| And no one was using Christ in reference to the money discussion, that was part of the discussion that referred to the forefathers all being Christians. And as I said, I could care less if it is on there at all. Might be kinda kewl to go retro and not have it on there, maybe even reprint money in the style is was first made, which would then not have the motto on it. Maybe put something that is more encouraging to bring AMERICANS as a whole together, rather than try to force yet another wedge between us all, and as for your majority theory it's not just non christians that want it removed. So, you take the minority that don't want it, then you take some from the Majority that don't want it either and you get a 50/50 vote. You're assuming that ALL christians want this on the money. As stated above there are plenty of Christians that don't want to have "In God We Trust" on money and even more that just don't care one way or the other.

I THINK THAT TO MANY PEOPLE HAVE TO MUCH FREE TIME ON THEIR HANDS AND NOTHING BETTER TO DO THAN THINK UP WAYS TO START PROBLEMS AND THEN SIT BACK AND LAUGH AT ALL THE KAOS THAT THEY HAVE CAUSED! IT'S ANOTHER ATTACK OF THE FREEDOMS WE HAVE. SOMETIMES WE HAVE TO MANY AND COMPLAINTS LIKE THIS ONE IS A GOOD IE. BUT THE GOVERMENT WILL WASTE MILLONS OF TAX DOLLARS ON SOMETHING LIKE THIS.

| I don't see it anywhere on my debit card, my American Express card, or on my Paypal account, so basically the issue amounts to "small change".

| All throughout recorded history, religion has divided mankind. If you wish to worship, then do so. If you don't, then don't. I personally feel that besides religion itself, religion should be the basis of nothing... especially political matters. America is a melting pot and always has been. It's filled with people from all over the world with different customs and beliefs. That's how we were founded in the first place (immigration). How about putting "In America We Trust" on our currency?
