Does anyone fish with the Marlin Magic Ahi Jet lures? If so, what size and color would you recommend for the most action? I am trying to decide between the "mini" or the "small" rocket jet, as I primarily fish around the edge and the nipple.

| Both are good choices. Blue/white, blue/pink are always good color choices around here.

We've got dozens of them. Personally, I like the flat topped ones with or without jets. Colors depend on time of year and bait in the area, but generally pinks and blues, white, silver - light colors work. I don't care at all for the pointy ones.
The most important thing about those lures is to rig them properly. Single hook rigs have to be pinned to keep the hook up and in line with the weighting of the lure or they won't run right. The jets make it a pita to glue on a hook lock stopper without clogging the jets so I do it the old fashioned way with a toothpick or piece of plastic. If you're using a double hook rig, its important to use light enough hooks that you don't weigh down the lure to where it has no action or where it runs on its side with hooks facing sideways instead of up and down. Then, you've got too small of hooks for something serious that will inevitably then get hooked on the lure with the small hooks.
