Anybody had any luck catching triggers lately?  What depth water and general area were they in?  I was thinking about the tanks S SW of OB but they may be so covered up with endangered red snappers that it would be impossible to get to them.  Any help appreciated.

We've caught/speared very few this year.  Last year we did pretty well early in the season and I was hoping they'd make a comeback, but it doesn't seem to be the case.  When diving I've seen very few; could just be where I've been diving, but they don't seem to be as plentiful as they used to be.

I caught several out of Destin on the bridge rubble a few weeks ago. Small circle hooks and small peices of squid. Out of 12 9 were keepers.

Same here. They seem to be thick on the rocky bottoms in over 100' we've fished lately. Not every one was a keeper, but most of them were.

We caught a several nice ones in 55ft off of Mexico beach last month.  I'll be going back in a couple of weeks.  They were tasty too

We have only caught one ALL YEAR. We usually dominate them but this year they are thin. With the new 14" limit, its gonna make it even harder.
