Went for a few hours last night and we stuck 7. Water was nasty and the wind never really laid down. all fish were 15 to 18 inches.

Still a great job!  Did you find them on the hil? Our shores over here are still churning. And if you are on a dock checking the water, it just has Nestle floating on top. Happy eating!

Some of the guys say "the hill" meaning 4 - 5" of water.

I've had issues using my trolling motor close to "the hill' because it is a 50 # thrust and the prop is too large for that shallow of water. So, I turn it off and have to pole and drift for them. Need a smaller trolling motor.

the tide was really high so i didnt seem much 5-6inch water they were mostly in 12 to 18 inches of water
