We started the day by getting on the water at 5:40 and headed south with the plan of avoiding the storms that day.  Shortly after we were at the buoys catching some live bait for later on.  We headed out to the first spot and caught quite a few undersized red snapper and ended up with a few keepers as well.  Throughout the morning we caught several mangroves and kings mixed in as well.  After a while we decided to put the live bait to work for the amberjack.  I caught a few undersized and my wife caught a good keeper of course.  We then decided to head in with the wind picking up and made it to the pass as the rain began.  Another great day on the water!  The pic is from the cell phone so it's not the best quality.
