| Without knowing the capacity of your fuel tank, a prescise answer cannot be given. However, assuming your tank holds 50 gallons, and your engine runs on a 50:1 gas/oil ratio, you will use 1 gallon of oil for every 50 gallons of gas, so two tanks of gas would consume 2 gallons of oil.

Sam...you are burning (assuming 2.5 gal of oil per two tanks (100 gal)) a 40 to 1 ratio. And I'd bet you are burning less then 100 gals per 2.5 gal of oil. Seems like alot of oil to me.
