I know dusters are used when slow trolling dead cigs, but do you enhance the bite when you use them with LIVE cigs or hardtails???

Thanks.........

We always drag some of our hardtails with dusters and some without.  Some days they are the only baits to get hit and sometimes they don't produce as well as the naked baits.  I do think that some of the break offs are because another fish hits the duster while fighting a fish.  The duster will ride up to the swivel while the fish is fighting so it looks pretty inviting to others in the area.

when your making your rigs after you have made your twist....run the wire back up through the bottom of the skirt and bend it over and cut the excess off leaving just enough to keep the skirt from moving up...this will reduce that problem of getting cut ....
