 HBGB It is hard as heck to describe how to pull a throat out of snappers, groupers, and especially triggerfish [the best]. Best thing is to hang around the fish cleaning tables at marinas and watch. They don't come out flat like the picture of the throat on the grill. You have to split them and press them out.

I put a good step by step instruction on how to pull the throats out on the old forum. The post was labeled "Cleaning Snapper Throats (for Stressless)". I tried to pull it up but could not get the post to show. I will check later to see if I still have the pictures to redo the post.
