Had a great day with great weather.  Started out with Jacks(just a little short eating big baits???)  Anyway the customers didnt really want Jacks so we moved on to the grouper/scamp fishing.  Bait boat ran out of cigs before we got there so off we go with a well full of pinfish.  A little worried about the bait issue we moved out to 200' hard bottom and landed quite a few scamps and a couple nice snapper.  Moved out a little deeper and brought up 4 nice snowy grouper.  Moved out even deeper and landed the biggest yellow edge grouper landed on the Lickety-Split.  We then moved in and topped off the snapper limit and headed home.  In the deeper water we also caught 30-35 monster white snapper and some really good mingos.  Great day and a trophy grouper to show for it!!!

Pic blurred a bit on th bottom but you can see the grouper!!!

You flat put those people on some fine fish. Did you do any jigging on the deep spots? Also wondering about the performance of your e-tecs.Are you happy with them? I figure that you have accumulated some hours on them by now. Thanks for the report.

I love my E-TECS.  My only prob is the fact that I idle so much that I cant get the spark plugs to last the full 300hrs between services.  210 out of the current set and getting replaced.  As much idle as I have 210hrs is pretty darn good!!!

Water still dont look to good Jim!!!

Brandon,
Congrats on another really productive trip!!! Sounds like yall had a blast.
That's a really nice mess of fish & an outstanding yellow edge.
How did the towels & the venting supplies work for you? Well I hope.
Continued success to you & your crew.

Blue skies, fair winds, calm seas & good fishing!
