Where can we find the bottom fishing rods like on the party / charter boats? They are simple-looking white rods with the funky grips. I'll attach a pic of what I'm talking about. There any stores around that sell these rods? Or whats the deal?

last time i was at half hitch in destin they had a trash can full of them (not to throw away but just to hold them up)

half hitch in navarre has them too. unfortunatly they are pretty expensive and they only have those black half hitch special rods left....

Asked Tim at Half Hitch today about these rods & come to find out, its a wooden wedge they can attach to a rod.  I had no idea.. lol.. I thought they came that way or something - learned something new..  Thanks for the help!

he's a guy from pensacola who builds custom rods...

his forum name is "linda&Ernie" (may be Ernie&Linda)

he can build you a set of bottom-bumping rods with those grips...
