I put in at Cinco bayou @ about 7:00pm, fished almost every dock on the east side of the bayou. Threw DOA shrimp, Superspook JR, Mirrolure suspending minnow, Rapala X-rap. I got a couple of topwater hits on the spook, but no hookups. I think those bites were Bluefish or Skipjacks because I saw some bait getting hit on top and threw to it towards open water. The bites were more of slashing instead of the way a trout hits. Wound up not catching anything after fishing till midnight, but still had a nice night out on the water. It was really windy and the clouds were really rolling through, may have had something to do with the lack of participation on the fishes part. I hope others did better.
