Just wondering if they are still in the area. I was wanting to take my 9 and 7yr old boys to see what BIG REDS are all about. Thanks Yes, they will be running through the pass and along the beaches (gulf side) thick till about the Feb or so.

Head out the pass and turn to the west(right) trolling some stretch's (don't hit the mass). Stay in about 15-25 feet of water. When you hook up on em, throw some jigs or bait rigs out for them. When you locate the birds, work them with whatever you got.
Worked for us last Friday. Good luck and have fun!
