I finally broke down and bought me a pair of these, after watching a guy who rarely dives barely kick to stay in place in a strong current on the Oriskany, and I was kicking with all my might to stay in the same spot. This mask is probably the best rated mask and the preference of most divers. Super big wide lens, along with super low profile with the lens being close to your face gice you the widest range of vision ever, with great periphial sight. No more feeling like your looking thru a tunnel and got to swing your head back and forth to see everything. I will never give mine up. Plus the low profile makes clearing your mask easy, and almost completely eliminates any squeeze.
Riffe gloves with kevlar palms, brand new, never worn. $36
Can grab onto anything...sea urchins, barnacles, rusty sharp metal, snapper gills, no worrys with the Kevlar palm. I have had mine over a year, and they are thin enough for summer, and my hands were never cold all last winter. Size XS, but exchangable for any size at MBT.
Tilos Platinum thick soled 6.5mm boots Brand new never worn. $48
I am on my second pair of these boots, and I love them, and will by another pair when I were mine out again. Feet stay fine in the winter, and exellent foot and strap rash protection in the summer. The tennis shoe like soles are the only way to go if you hate calf and foot cramps while diving. It is a night and day difference, plus more power in your fin kick. Size 5

Again, you may be able to get your gear for cheaper, but NOT for the BEST fins, mask, gloves, and boots. And not for most of the gear being NEW. And NOT for a technical style BC, NOT for weight integrated, NOT for a Suunto computer, and NOT for an Air2 inflator/regulator combo. And Not including even the small things like soft weights.
These are the items you are eventually going to sell anything lower grade that you buy, and end up buying this type of stuff, or WANTING it. Start out right, and get the good stuff with the newer technology for the price of the old stuff!
