had a buddy down from birmingham and he wanted to catch some fish and take a few back home. we didnt get out on the water until after 11 am due to celebrating the bama-georgia game. got out to the nipple and trolled from there to the 131. water was beautiful but looked pretty lifeless. picked up the lines and headed to the elbow. water was still good and there were a couple of grass lines trying to form up. we came across a 10'x10' nylon bag and it was covered up in chicken dolphin. they were hungry and biting one after the other. my buddy had a blast hooking them and watching them jump all over. we caught 12 before they got smart. also caught a couple of tripletail but they were too small and had to go back. headed north to the yellow gravel to try and get a grouper before heading home. too bad we couldnt get past the legal red snappers on every drop. caught 5 or 6 legal reds. all were vented and swam away. we got sick of catching them and called it a day.

good job guys wish I was there they got me pulling 28/14 plus another 6 days for a tankerman I wonder what I got myself into anyway great catch good eating
