| Went along NAS by the pipes looking for Gustav groupers, but no luck bottom fishing (one flounder). Tried trolling stretches around... nothing. Started chasing spanish, run & cast, I threw a multi straw lure into one frenzy and the drag started screaming. I told Dad we are going to have to chase this one. The Penn 550 wasn't going to bring it in on its own. I even broke one of the fighting rules by tightening the drag. After a few minutes we saw the bull red, but not for long. Finally got it to the boat...36 inches and fat. Never had that happen before, pretty cool.
