| its a shame... You should of just posted this the other day.. Brother had a 90 ford tarus.. It was alittle ruff, but it ran and went from A to B.. They sold it to the junkyard for 275 bucks

| The last part of your post is the problem............and get me there. Unfortunately, you pretty much get what you pay for. I wish you luck but you're kidding yourself if you think you are going to buy a $1,000 vehicle and it will be dependable. Unless you are a mechanic, it will end up costing you more than if you had bought a better vehicle in the first place. Just my two cents.

| I admire you for that. I've been there. How far is your job ? Maybe a scooter or small motorcycle would work until you can save for a car. When I was in college, I rode a 1969 Honda CB175 for about 4 months until I could afford a car. I saw a car somewhere on the side of the road for $500. Can't remember where but I will keep my eyes open from now on and post if I see one. Check Craigslist. Good luck to you.
